This is a challenge....I have seen lots of instructions for feed bag totes online. What a good idea! Today I just couldn't face canning or making stock so I goofed off and got out my sewing machine.
Here is my first attempt at a tote. It is 17 inches high and about 14 inches wide, not fancy colors like Purina chow come in but a fun farm theme, it even has a turkey on it!
I had a blast but now I need to see what other ideas are out there. Have you made a tote today?
Have fun and happy sewing!
I love that bag artwork! If you start selling these, please let me know.
ReplyDeleteput me down for one too
ReplyDeleteI love making totes from feed bags - it's the ultimate upcycling! I have a bunch of them and use them ALOT.
ReplyDeleteI am making more and the first attempt is already well used, it gets frozen groceries from the deep freeze in the Utility building to the fridge in the house!
ReplyDeleteThere are a few going places too!
Cute! I've made some in the past, really should make some more.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why I didn't try this sooner, they fold up small, are light, hold a good bit and are cheap.....and we have the feed bags!
